Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R) is part of a larger system of national, state-wide, and local programs and services supporting children and families in need of child care assistance.
Through cross-sector partnerships, we support Illinois’ early learning mission and guiding principles for families to ensure that each and every child enters kindergarten safe, healthy, ready to succeed, and eager to learn.
CCR&R services increase access to affordable, quality childcare in Lake County by referring families and helping them pay for childcare.
We prepare early child educators to enter and succeed in the field as well, through technical assistance consultation, professional development training, and funding. We improve the quality of child care in Lake County.
Economic Empowerment Program provides job readiness and training opportunities for individuals to achieve self-sufficiency. This program eliminates significant barriers to education, gainful employment, and financial security.
