Sherrise Trotz

Sherrise Trotz held the position of Vice President of Chicagoland Operations where she played an integral role in bringing a Fortune 50 company’s mission and purpose to life through her region that encompassed over 481 stores and over 15,000 leaders and team members.

Sherrise began her career as a pharmacist in 1996. She was promoted to a pharmacy manager in 1997, a pharmacy relations representative in 1999 and a district pharmacy supervisor by 2000. Trotz continued to escalate her career, and by 2004, she was a regional managed care sales director, advancing to vice president of regional managed care sales by 2006. In 2007, she became the vice president of strategic sales, client and clinical services; in 2009, she was promoted to executive pharmacy director of Midwest operations. She also was the first to move from a pharmacy career path to district manager/director of pharmacy and retail operations rotational positions in 2014.

Sherrise was asked to lead the Enterprise Immunizations program in 2015 and in April of 2016 was given oversight over the Medicare Business and Market Access Operations. In December 2016, she was promoted to Vice President of Pharmacy Operations and then transitioned into the role of Vice President of Chicagoland Operations. She was responsible for the performance of a premium region with a multi-billion dollar P/L. She led all aspects of strategic development and market share growth across the Chicagoland area; worked collaborative with external and internal partnerships, managed the engagement and development for over 15,000 team members and leaders and cultivated the customer experience through execution of corporate programs and initiatives. Sherrise was also is the liaison between the field and the corporate offices in providing the field perspective for key products, service offerings and initiatives.

Sherrise earned her Bachelor of Science with a major in Zoology and minor in Chemistry from Howard University in 1992 and her Doctor of Pharmacy from Howard University in 1996. Currently she is pursuing her MBA degree at Keller Graduate School of Management.

She is a member of Kappa Epsilon, a pharmacy sorority, a lifetime member of Delta Sigma Theta, a public service sorority, a member of Leading Executive Women Network and Healthcare Businesswomen Association, a member of the Network of Executive Women, Board of Director, YWCA, Lake County, Board of Director, Chicago Children’s Advocacy Center.

Sherrise has been married for 15 years and a mother to 3 daughters. She resides in Hawthorn Woods, IL and is a proud member of Heritage Church located in Lake Zurich, IL.
